Banyan Technology-Mothership Partnership Expands Local Carrier Capabilities

CLEVELAND, OH (May 16, 2023) – Banyan Technology, the leading provider of freight management software for all over-the-road (OTR) shipping, has announced its partnership with Mothership, an on-demand, short-haul freight-technology company, to enhance Banyan’s Local Carrier services by adding access to more than 28,000 additional box trucks in the U.S.

The partnership will expand client services with access to more box trucks in the U.S., including same-day delivery in 37 markets. Additionally, the integrations of these additional connections into the Banyan LIVE Connect™ platform will help streamline client operations by consolidating vetted Local Carrier providers with Banyan’s other supported OTR modes including Truckload, LTL and Parcel, in a single platform.

“The addition of the Mothership integration means clients benefit from seamless end-to-end freight execution through vetted carrier partners they can trust,” said Brian Smith, CEO of Banyan Technology. “Through integrations with partners like Mothership, we give clients the ability to rate, compare and execute all OTR shipments from a single screen.”

Banyan’s LIVE Connect platform helps Shippers and 3PLs automate freight management processes by providing instant access to preferred carriers, enhanced efficiency, and data retrieval. The Mothership partnership allows Banyan’s clients to deliver same day freight through automatic dispatch to the nearest carriers within its network so that freight travels faster and costs less.

“We have built proprietary routing, dispatch, and payment technologies… all these things that we focus on and excel at,” said Aaron Peck, Founder and CEO of Mothership. “Now we have a partner who's working on providing the best experience on the front end for mutual customers. They can use technology, like Banyan’s, to get the best of all the worlds.”

Banyan’s clients will continue to experience the award-winning service and ongoing support Banyan provides for all its offerings, with immediate responsiveness and client collaboration to continue to further expand and develop the LIVE Connect shipping software.
